Vulnerability

Being alive is a vulnerable proposition.

As Brené Brown said, "Either you do vulnerability consciously or it does you."

Thinking we can avoid vulnerability (feeling uncertain, at risk or emotionally exposed) as humans is foolhardy.

Thinking we can avoid vulnerability as artists is more ridonculousness.

Remember: No vulnerability. No innovation. No creativity.

Here are some questions for your own personal reflection with regard to your creativity, your creations, and your creative life:

• Have you engineered smallness in these areas of your life? If so, how?
  

• Are you willing to show up and be seen?
  

• How would being willing to be vulnerable consciously impact you?
  

• How would being more brave and courageous affect you?
  

• Are you willing to be more vulnerable, brave and courageous in these aspects of your life? If so, what does that look like for you?
  

• How have you been vulnerable and brave so far in these areas?
